About the event
ACS-SR will host a booth at the upcoming Augusta Earth Day festival on April 23rd, 2022 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will take place at the Phinizy Swamp Nature Park in Augusta (1858 Lock and Dam Rd.) and will host various vendors, classes, and presentations related to Earth Day along with food from local vendors. There are also opportunities to volunteer for environmental cleanup events around the community starting at 9:00 am. The ACS theme for Earth Day 2022 is “The Buzz About Bugs – Insect Chemistry.” Come visit the ACS-SR booth for various experiments and demonstrations related to the chemistry of insects.
